On Treadmill Workouts

Because of a 7am meeting, I attempted to run 3 miles on a treadmill this morning. It was a complete fail. My brain has a 5 second treadmill attention span. It’s so easy to just jump off that thing.

I think I would love running on a treadmill if I looked like this:


But unfortunately I’m closer to this:


As the days are getting shorter and the Fall rainy weather is gloomily approaching, somehow, someway the treadmill and I will have to play nice with each other.

  1. Those videos had me cracking up lol I run on the treadmill at work ALOT. You will get used to it and actually enjoy the convienence of having all your gels, water phone etc. read a running magazine…or look at the pictures cuz its hard to read it….

    1. Thanks for the encouragement! I’ll definitely take advantage of running outside as much as I can, but hopefully will get used to it soon!

  2. you need to follow a workout on a treadmill, 20-30 minutes tops. I just posted a good climb workout on my blog I found on Runners world. There are a lot drills to do for speed and endurance. It bores me to tear just run on the treadmill for the sake of it.
